Macy's Review

Macys is a chain of mid-range American stores with its flagship store in Herald Square, New York, which, with its million square feet of space for sale has been billed as the “World’s Largest Store” since the completion of Seventh Avenue Moreover, in 1924. The company also operates two other national flagship store in San Francisco’s Union Square and the former flagship Marshall Field’s on State Street in Chicago’s Loop. In addition, four divisions flagship store locations are part of the legacy of several acquisitions by Macy’s over the years - Atlanta, representing the former Rich in the chain; Miami, Burdines, which formerly operated; St. Louis, former headquarters of May Department Stores and its famous - Barr division, and Seattle, which was the site of The Bon Marché. Storing certain locations, such as the former flagship of Dayton at Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis and the former Wanamaker’s flagship in downtown Philadelphia, are regarded as flagships regional, having expanded merchandise similar to the selections, but less extensive than the flagship national divisions and stores. There are two administrative divisions to store all divisions of the nation: * Macy’s Merchandising Group, based in New York, responsible for the conceptualization, design, supply, marketing and private label and branded goods sold in Macy’s private and manage relationships core suppliers in the domestic market brand.
* Macy’s Home Store, based in New York, responsible for the purchase, planning and marketing of origin goods related sold in all stores Macy’s. On February 11, 2007, episode of the ABC Show Desperate Housewives, “What I remember,” Eva Longoria is Gabrielle Solis character is considered the purchase of linen in a store Macy’s West, in the city of Pasadena. At the scene, Gabrielle lounges in a bed with a “Vivianne” stylesheet established by Charter Club. Shortly after the scene that aired, Macy’s West put a sign that says “As Seen on Desperate Housewives.” This makes Macys one of the biggest chains in the Unitated States of America. From my personal experience, the good thing of visiting it as a foreigener is that you get a 12% discount on any purchase you make in the shop.
